1.22.08 - It was cold, but we knew how to heat it up.

It was an extremely cold week in Minneapolis with temps dropping to -13 and below. But the heat was on in the Metrodome. Flame Motorsports came to the HHH to put on a show. With both truck qualifying in the top half on the field and Daron taking the number 2 spot. We had what it would take to win this weekend. David had a solid qualifying run but with Martial Law spinning out in Krunch’s final turn David had to slow up to avoid hitting the other truck.

Daron on the other hand had a great run to put him number two just behind T-Maxx. Daron worked his way trough the rounds making his way to the finals. David made in through the first round and into the quarter finals but when he left the line he blew the transmission on the tacky surface taking him out of competition for the remainder on the night. Daron had his race face on and was ready for Carl in the T-maxx, they left on the green and Daron took a slight lead over the Maxxster but in the final turn Daron took it to wide and Carl laid down a perfect turn and took the win. David out of the freestyle competition it left it up to Daron to bring one home for the team. El Matador was piloted with precision and purpose with Daron laying down the best run on his career. He hit every obstacle in every direction to put a 28 in the board. His score held for most of the field until Alex Blackwell came out to lay down a great run of his own to get the win. We want to thank all of our sponsors for the support with out them we could not do this.
